we have the Invisible Fence Dog System 100 A and have been using it for a long time, for multiple dogs. It works great for those of you who don’t know, it gives a light shock when the dog crosses the boundary (we made sure the shock isnt hurtful by walking through the invisible fence ourselves with the collar in hand).
Anyways, we lost our old collar- it was the regular Invisible Fence brand receiver collar. When going to buy a new one from a fence dealer (other than Invisible Fence itself, which charges $300 for new collars) we were highly recommended the NEW R21 Perimeter Fence Receiver.. the same price, but major differences were its made in the US as oppose to Invisible Fence Reciever Collar’s China, it weighs 1.1 ounces compared to the IF 1.6, it was more recently designed, and a different battery system (which is more expensive but lasts longer- i havent compared the exact prices yet but will see)
anyways.. the dealer said everyone who has bought this new Perimeter® reciever collar (which is compatible with all Invisible Fence systems) says its good.. I have looked at a few different dealers now and I see they are trying to sell this receiver. I am just wondering if anyone else has this Perimeter® Reciever Collar (compatible with IF systems) and is happy with it? is it better or the same as the old Invisible Fence normal platinum collar.

I couldn’t find any sites where people have left ratings or comments but it looks like a good collar.
I like the different sized prongs and the fact it is made in USA.
The price seems reasonable. We paid a lot more than that.
